Challenge: Endemol Shine needed to increase engagement and viewership for their reality TV shows on Channel 4, BBC, and Sky One. They were looking for a social media producer to manage the paid social and editorial calendar, deliver content, and schedule posts and Twitter Moments.
Solution: I managed an executive and cor-ordiated the delivery of the paid social and editorial calendar for Channel 4, BBC, and Sky One reality TV shows. I also managed a team to deliver content and schedule posts and Twitter Moments for Celebrity Hunted. This show was nominated for Broadcast Awards Best Entertainment Programme and Best Factual Programme in 2019.
To inform the paid social content, I used social listening to understand the audience's preferences and interests. I also provided valuable insights and recommendations that helped to optimize their social media advertising efforts.
Results: My efforts resulted in a significant improvement in engagement and viewership for Channel 4, BBC, and Sky One reality TV shows. With my help, Channel 4 increased engagement by 176% and video views by 112% year over year on Celebrity Hunted. The social listening and paid social advertising efforts helped to create a sense of community and excitement around their shows, resulting in increased engagement and viewership.
