Challenge: Zalando, a major online fashion retailer, sought an experienced partner to manage their paid social media campaigns across ten European markets. Their objective was to enhance their social media presence, achieve higher ROI, and effectively reach their target audience.
Solution: As the Paid Social Director for Zalando, I managed a team of two senior executives and led the paid activation of their live shopping events on Meta. Additionally, I managed their beauty, fashion, and streetwear campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ensuring our campaigns aligned with Zalando's brand messaging and objectives.
Results: Our efforts led to significant success for Zalando's paid social media campaigns. Our live shopping campaigns exceeded benchmarks of the average reach across all markets by an average of +57%. In anticipation of these events, the brand achieved a high engagement rate of 28.9% on Facebook. Our tentpole campaigns led to a strong growth of Zalando's Gen Z audience on TikTok over a seven-month period. Our partnership helped Zalando establish a strong social media presence and achieve meaningful results.
